Val di Peio and Val di Sole are pure mountains; the scenario is unique: in addition to presenting different environments based on altitude, they have the advantage of having 3 mountain groups with origins, eras and compositions completely different from each other, such as the majestic peaks of Adamello, Presanella and ´Ortles-Cevedale, glaciers, forests, streams, mountain pastures and ancient farms. Much of the territory is protected by the Adamello Brenta Natural Park and the Stelvio National Park.

Val di Sole is also nicknamed the Valley of 100 lakes. There are numerous lakes, waterways, streams and glaciers. The main torrent of our valley is the Noce River, navigable for a good 35 km.

VAL DI SOLE IN SUMMER

Hiking, water sports, climbing and mountain biking, or even simple walks, are fun and wellness in an extraordinary landscape. Green hiking in nature parks, but also fishing, canoeing, kayaking and rafting along streams and lakes. Val di Sole extends from Passo del Tonale to Val di Non and welcomes the valleys of Peio and Rabbi that flow from the north.

The area is surrounded by the mountain ranges of Brenta, Adamello, Presanella and Ortles-Cevedale, reaching up to 3,500 meters of altitude of the glaciers. Most of the territory is protected by the Adamello Brenta Nature Park and the Stelvio National Park.

The scenery is unique: majestic peaks, forests, streams, lakes, mountain huts and farms in harmony with the environment. The water is the dominant note of the valleys: in the valley runs the Walnut, gym for fans of canoeing, kayaking and rafting and theater of the world championships of these disciplines. But here there is also the world of mountain biking, so the paths for fans are numerous and varied and include the Val di Sole cycle path that develops along the Noce, following ancient and rustic roads.

The groups of Adamello and Brenta, rich in alpine lakes (there are a hundred) and glaciers, offer an infinite number of excursions and crossings for all, beginners and experts.

VAL DI SOLE IN WINTER

Downhill, cross-country, ski mountaineering and snowboarding in an extraordinary natural landscape. The Val di Sole, north-west of Trentino, offers all the opportunities for those who love skiing, with advanced facilities, equipped schools and convenient transport. Numerous and of varying difficulty the slopes for the descent, the cross-country, the snowboard and the safe areas where to practice the ski mountaineering. Val di Sole extends from Passo del Tonale to Val di Non and welcomes the valleys of Peio and Rabbi that flow from the north. The ski area Folgarida-Marilleva is a winter sports paradise: the connection with Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo creates an immense ski area, for over 150km. The Presena glacier and the Tonale pass form, together with Pontedilegno and Temù, another carousel of 100 km of slopes. The natural and programmed snow guarantee an early ski season since autumn and that continues until late spring. The Val di Peio, in the Stelvio Park, is a place particularly suitable for families with children and sportsmen who want to practice their sports in unspoilt nature . For cross-country enthusiasts there are over 55 km of well-prepared rings.
